INVITATIONS FOR " Puces & Love"

The most famous flea market in Paris is the one at Porte de Clignancourt, officially called Les Puces de Saint-Ouen, but known to everyone as Les Puces (The Fleas). It’s always fabulous, but this evening, October 10 , there is a special Annual event called "Puces & Love". All markets will be open from 7pm - until midnight and dealers will be serving food and drinks, with live music and all kinds of entertainment. A lot of fun, and a unique, not- to- be missed experience. Laurence Jantzen has invitations for those who want to go.

The Conference Committee is delighted to tell you that the preparations for the 6th International Cane Collectors Conference in Paris, France have been completed. The Conference is fully subscribed with over 140 registrants which makes this the largest gathering of antique cane enthusiasts of the six international conferences!

We hope you are as excited as we are about this first ever International Cane Conference outside the United States. We are confident that the 6th International Cane Collectors Conference will be a memorable, enjoyable and educational event for you and your guests in Paris.

We do need to know the following information from you as soon as possible: 1) if you wish to reserve for the Saturday tour of the Quai Branly Museum; 2) the number of canes you will be bringing for the “swap”. We have been able to arrange to be in Paris at the perfect time of the year. Share your love of canes with other collectors, dealers and world experts. Plan to spend time before and/or after exploring the fascinating historic sites of France. The museums, architecture and dining are incomparable.

The Sixth International Cane Collector's Conference is the perfect follow-up for the very successful Canemania 2006 held in Napa Valley, California. Travel and hotel accommodations will be at your discretion but allow enough time to enjoy all that Paris has to offer.

Canemania 2008 expects a large turnout and attendance will be limited so registration and payment is encouraged now to ensure your space.

It is with great pride and excitement the Official Canemania2008 Committee announces we have received over 100 paid participants for Canemania2008. We are still accepting full registration with payment to confirm your space in this exciting international event. Attendance has been set at 150 Conference Participants (not including Guests at Thursday Night’s Welcome Reception or Saturday Night’s GALA). It is important that those who requested pre-reserved space send in their registration information and payment to confirm and hold their reservation. At this time we have space available but anticipate from the response to date that all 150 spaces will be filled in the very near future.
